*TRANSPORT. The Swanage Railway now runs from Swanage to Wareham on selected days. Use the train as a great way of starting your walk at Purbeck Park.
*The title of this walk is Norden Park-and-Ride to Wareham. Following a name change, it should be Purbeck Park to Wareham to be revised on the next leaflet update.
* Some work has been done on the connection between the footpath and the road at point 3 and the gate mentioned has been replaced by some posts so please change points 3 and 4 as follows.
(3) Go straight ahead (N) on the road until you reach a gap with 2 traffic prevention posts on your right, just before a private driveway.
(4) Note that this walk connects to Walk 2 in this series here. Go through the gap which will lead ....
And
(8) You can now walk alongside Soldiers Road on a footpath.
